At most of our Meetings guests are very welcome and, typically, 25-40 players are present.

Every 5 years we organise an anniversary event.  In 2022 this was held at glorious Sunningdale GC for our 85^th.  We played the Old Course and then enjoyed dinner with guest speaker in the stunning clubhouse.

Between our anniversary events we have organised golf tours to regions outside the South East.  In recent years we have visited Cornwall, Devon, Cumbria, Norfolk and South Wales.  This year we shall tour Nottinghamshire playing Sherwood Forest, Coxmoor and Hollinwell GCs.

All members of the OIC are very welcome to join the Golf Society.  Bona fide club handicaps are preferred, although a society handicap is also welcome.
