LAKEDOWN TROUT FISHERY – FRIDAY 21^ST APRIL 2023

The Committee are delighted to announce our inaugural fly-fishing event to be held at Roger Daltrey’s (of ‘The Who’ fame), Lakedown Trout Fishery.

This event is for fly-fishing novices and an Angling Trust certified coach, Martin Penton will be our lead instructor for the morning. Coaching, rods, tackle, permits are provided.

8:30am        Tea/Coffee and Bacon bap available

9am             Fishing starts

1pm             Chicken Curry, rice and accompaniments is served

A cash bar will be available at the lodge/tap room serving a range their own Lakedown Brewing Co beers/lagers.

Cost £105pp for fly-fishing novices and Cost £65pp for experienced fly fishers who will bring their own rods, tackle. This price includes the permit and lunch. A ‘trout & coarse’ license at £6 per day is payable online, further instructions to be provided to attendees prior to the event. Early Bird discount of £5 each by 31 January!

Two fish limit will be observed with A Prize for heaviest fish caught.
